2Gen surfs

err well im sitting at work and as there is nothing to do so i started looking at surfs on feebay and autotrader and the amount of 2gen surf with the info saying.... and ABS

i didnt think that 2gen surfs got ABS i thought that it was 3gens and on.
did i miss something?

Correct, 2nd gens never had ABS fitted. Dealers seem to tick the ABS box when selling on eBay thinking they will sell quicker..

Dont you think fleabay is like a fecking scrapyard, except you dont have to remove the stuff off the vehicles?
It just seems to be all bits from chopped up 2nd gens and non genuine filter deals.Oh and recon 2.4 heads!!!!

Take all those away and there wouldnt be much left.

i wont sell a vehicle via ebay now after trying to sell 2 motorbikes and a frontera on fleabay, god the hassle you get

yes i will be coming to norfolk, i just need to book the time off work in the next few days.


i look at some of the trade sellers on both sites and think ok lets take a test drive and i just want to try a fast stop to test the brakes, followed by err mate the ABS isn't working drop the price by err X amount and i will think about it as that will cost a bit to fix, if its just a person sell i don't think i would do that but it seems to manly be the traders that get it wrong.
it only takes 10 - 20 minutes to look around on the net and get some details about a model and so on.
