  • 3rd Gen offset and PCD

I'm after getting a set of completely bog standard steel rims for some studded winter tyres in Finland and need wheel details.

IIRC, the 3rd Gen wheels are 16x7JJ? Has anyone got the offset and PCD?

Absolutely PMSL! It's no wonder I'm hearing stories about the same wheels apparently not fitting the same model and year Surfs! No-one knows!

OK, after pulling off the spare and searching the rim, plus searching the web, I've found it. So it comes up in future searches:

Surf 3rd Gen wheels offset size PCD

    Standard wheel size: 16x7JJ
    Standard offset: -7
    Standard PCD: 6x139.7
    Standard tyres: 265x70R16

Hearing stories about people having clearance issues fitting 16x7 or 16x8 with ET0. I wonder why...

        ET zero, not O. Offset=0

          265

The rest is the same as a 2nd gen except the 16" rim as you need to clear the differantly mounted brake calipers.
