hi all just got back from north norfolk used my isuzu to tow our caravan we did a total of 476 mls filled the tank before we left then put 48.22 ltr in and another 57.56 ltr in when we got home at a cost of £113.00 so what's our mpg

I make that 20.456 mpg

(48.22 + 57.56) = 105.78 total litres
105.78 / 4.546 = 23.269 gallons
476 / 23/269 = 20.456 MPG

Yup, need to put the word 'imperial' in front of the word 'gallon' or it seems to default to US gallons. Oddly when I first checked it, it did proper gallons, when I clicked the link above it did US gallons.

Still, google is useful for pretty much any unit conversion like this.
