This wasn't supposed to be a contest, this was supposed to be about installing the ICE in my truck.

This seems like the most apropriate place to post this....

Don't know if you remeber, but a while back i was talking to you about specing me an amp that could cope with my subs (shitty i know)....

I have a freind who can install it all, thankfully....

So, I have a set of tweeters 300w MAX.

                    Also have a set of subs(as you know) 2 x 12" 1 = 350w x 2 = 700w MAX. which you sed if i remeber correctly will run at roughly 200-300w continuously, fair enough.

                    So my questions really are

What size speakers are advisable to fit in the FRONT

And is it worth fitting speakers in the rear, taking into consideration thier is a sub in the rear??

Also what are the standard sizes for a surfs speakers, front and rear...

Oh lastly, what sort of amp would be reqiured to hook all this stuff up

Man i ask too many questions, i apologise....

                    Regards
                    James

You're being very laid back at the moment Andy, isn't it time you let rip? You normally don't tolerate these kinds of comments.

The standard fronts are 4". 6" or 8" mids will go in the doors, but you'll need to fabricate something to make them fit properly.

In my opinion, no. Others will argue that point though.

Didn't really want to go down that root of making customer door pods, rather keep it looking as standard as pos.

theres no need to let rip at anyone. im not trying to offend in any of my posts and i have previously said this in hope that the poster knows im only making convo and playing around.

i may still be fairly new on here and i would hate for people to take what i say the wrong way.
im not an aggressive person in any shape or form. i am however very cheeky and SARCASTIC.
it is a disscusion forum after all. x

Hardly letting rip, goodcat. As you say you're new on here and maybe haven't seen some of Andys more caustic replies, he's a master of them I can assure you, and he doesn't take kindly to p*ss takers on his threads.

The thing is that lighthearted comments are sometimes taken the wrong way and then a slanging match begins, which can evolve into a big issue.

You're right, it is a disscussion forum and as people often point out it would be pretty boring if everyone agreed with everyone else. Just don't be surprised if some of the old hands on here take umbrage at your 'cheeky or sarcastic' comments. Because once those guys take it upon themselves to reply you'll see my comment was a gentle hint.

No offence taken or intended mate.
