Rope or wire cable?

Quick question lads. Which is the best for recovery with a hi-lift jack, tow rope/straps or steel tow cables?

Neither. A high lift jack is not a recovery tool. Although, through improvisation, it can be used as one; its primary purpose and therefore strength, is to lift, not pull. Buy a pull lift and use straps.
