  • New Kumho tyres!

Check out my brand new 265/75R16 Kumho kl71 MT's. Im chuffed with em. Very close fit at the front.

Tiny bit of rub on full lock but nothing to worry about. Think i'll get a set of Daystar coil spacers to lift her up a bit, cant afford suspension lift at the moment!

Nice mate, 32" tyre might need a little lift for the road, but will be a must if you take it off road.

Thanks lads, just took her for a spin & they've balanced perfectly. Little bit of a drone of em up around 60mph but very impressive for an MT.
Hey yoshie you know anywhere in the UK I can get coil spacers?

Nice look my friend, good choice!

Just what you need to make it look super hardcore!

I am thinking of the 33x12.50's for mine but that involves a few mods first! If the look is anything like those when finished then I'm in!

              Your truck looks tidy too.

              Ray.
I've got a plan and it's as hot as my pants!

This is the 2.5" coil spacer kit im thinking of getting
                      http://www.jegs.com/i/Daystar/319/KT09106BK/10002/-1#
Its for a Toyota 4runner which is identical (I presume) to a surf so it should fit.
Anybody had something like this fitted?
Was thinking of getting a Milners 1.5" bodylift kit but apparently you need quite a few brackets & others bits to complete the job.

Sorry for being a numpty mate, will you not need longer shocks for that? I have a 2"suspension lift and 2" body lift on mine, i thought that when the springs where extended then the shock had to do the same?

Hey Charvell its a fair point your making. Ive tried to research this kit to the best of my ability & even looked at the pdf application guide on the Daystar website & it does not say I need longer shocks? Take a look. Page 26

you'll only need longer shocks if you want the springs to fully extend (droop)...

depends if they're taller springs or just stiffer?

I think they are spacers not new springs! should be ok i would of thought unless being used off road
