4runner Sunroof

I am looking at a range of possible surfs/4runners to purchase at the moment, which will be my first venture into Toyotas. Formerly a Jeep man.

One of the 4runners is a good spec and reasonable mileage, 120,000, but the sunroof does not work.

Is this fairly common? And if so what are the possible causes and how much to put them right? I realise this might be too much of an open ended question so I apologise for that, but any advice would be appreciated.
