  • getting the side decals off the panels

    ive sourced myself a heat gun from a friend, and im working myself up to go and strip the side stickers off the car.

    does anyone have any advice before i strip the paint off as well? i will probably do it next weekend~ish

          Don't heat one place for too long. You only need to soften the adhesive, nothing more.

            i used a steamer for wall paper
            and hot water
            keep very hote water away from ya trimm tho its sends it white
            am not die lex sick its you that cant read mate

                    I used the trees at drumclog, not 100% effective but lots of fun.

                      Do NOT use a heat gun that is normally used for paint stripping, it will do just that! By the time you get the heat on the sticker long enough it will have a chance to blister the surrounding paintwork.

                      As suggested a hairdryer on the hottest setting does the trick. You can always use a caramel disc on really stubborn bits.

                        hi mate yes get em off looks like a boy racers car with em .i used trina's hair dryer to get mine off if you dont get them hot enough then it brakes n if you get it too hot they streach .my isuzu stripes were a pig and had to get a caramel wheel but the surf was easy
