Fitting roof rails from other cars

They look pretty good Dodger, what sort of weight would put you on them as they have no middle support?

I have no idea of the actual weight they can hold, but i have had loads on them, (3 sets of 5m ladders & 8 full length scaffold planks) with the cross bars set as far apart as they go all the weight is on the mounting points which in turn is on the roof cross members. also when i bolted them through the roof i added quite large steel spreader plates under the roof lining.
