Would this cause overheating

After chat with Jotto and Gamedawn at Avalanche regarding the truck getting overly hot I decided today was the day to pull the rad and flush the system, in preparation of our upcoming road trip to Scotland

Didn't think the rad was too bad until i pulled it out and it looked like this




Must have spent a good hour on it with the hose pipe on low pressure to get all the crud out of there, but it is the first time the rad's been out and cleaned since i've had the truck.

Did the aircon rad in situ as it was easy to get at once main rad was out the way.

Just hope I have burped it properly but will be taking it for a run tomorrow to see how it goes.
