  • Its That Time.......

Just dropped her off at the MOT station, first one since i've owned her.
They are good blokes down there they only do MOT's so they're not going
to tell me me brakes are shot and me tyres are illegal just to make a few quid.
Last time i took me van in he even changed the indicator bulb for free....

Had to get bus to work, sun beaming in thro windows and the bleedin heaters where on full chat......
i could smell the fat girl at the back and it wer'nt channel no. 5 she was wearing......uuurghhhh!!!!

Wahay she passed with only an advisory on the front wheel bearings...

Cost me £49 for the MOT and i know that in town they do it for £25 but its
worth going to an MOT only place in my book.

Just need to fix the power steering leak and the rocker cover leak and the
auto box sump gasket leak....... winter jobs when its not so hot...yeah right.

It should have failed on the engine and gearbox leaks if they are dripping. The PS leak should also be a fail. It's unusual to get an advisory on bearings, they're either ok or they're not.

Pressure washed the underside and engine yesterday so the leaks are not visible.... not the sort that drip eveywhere anyway just small amounts of residue can be seen after a long drive.
Thought that about the bearings myself but hayho she has a years ticket and i can replace at my convenience....

That's the subjective bit, but the tester should either say they're OK or not OK. They can't be any other way?

And pay yer fees ya skinflint...
