For the widebody, the standar size is 265/70/15. Factory option is 31x10.5x15.

Not sure on the narrow body what the standard size is.

You may want to play about with the tyre pressures. I'm running 35 in my 31s, used to run 33 in my 265/70s

        Cheers

Our 2.4 came with 215/70/15's on but they run 31x10.50x15's very well.

If you want a cheap tyre that runs well on the road (for the wife) and yet would still let you lane a bit what about some Kumho All Terrains (822 model). They're not very agressive, we've had very good results with Kumho tyres in the past.
Just bought 4 of these for a friend - cost £280 for 4 fitted and balanced.

Standard tyres for the early 2nd generation 2.4 diesel were Bridgestone 30 9.50 15's on 6JJ chromed steel rims.

Mine came with 225/70/15, attached photo, after looking at lots of other surfs with 265,s and 31,s. they seem to look better and be higher off the ground, but pulled along side one with 265,s and they were both the same hieght, still think the ones with 265 and 31,s look better than mine. what do yous think?

                      Isn't 265/70/?15 just the metric equivalent of 31/10.5/15 ?
                      It's only a hobby!
