          good effort, nice to see some proper engineering goin on im gonna give this a shot in the nr future, might try some sliders first..

                Done a bit more on the bumper tonight making really good progress at covering the garage floor in small offcuts of pipe.

                    aaron not being an arse here,but to me that winch mount doesnt seem to look strong enough.yes its bolted to the front x member but where is the front of the mount bolted too.?is it bolted to the A bar?in my opinion it will bend first time you use it in anger.but thats just my opinion.good effort though.

                    billious,looks like someone got their bend centres wrong.looking good though.

                      The welds near end are "weld on " pipe elbows. They give a much tighter bending radius than a pipe bender. Done a bit more nearly finished now. Also going to pick my ARB locker up tomorrow

                        yes the tray made of 6mm plate is bolted to a frame aswell as front x member,,,its never had to be used yet ,well ofcoarse its a surf lol but it was used to pull dead trees out of a valley for a camp fire,,even in park and handbrake on it pulled me towards the edge,..got pics and vids ,..

                          Does anyone have any advise on the nest way to mount this wonch to the fromt of the surf?

                          We are thinking about adding this to our surf and are looking for advice on the bext way?
