this weekend ive mostly been....

sorting the new caravan,got everything working,givin it a good wash,fitted a car stereo with ipod/mp3 connector and 2 rather loud speakers,then fitted lcd tv on swivel bracket jobbie,and got all the basics put in,and now im on call from 7pm till 7am

nice one .we used ours this weekend the first time this year.but cant get tv reception on the little farm we are now keeping it on so i need a satellite dish n box got cable at home so never had any dealings with dishes and stuff any advise for use in a caravan oh and we do have 240 volt

been lookin into same thing,maplins and several others do kits range from about 50 to 100 quid,then get a cheap freeview box,plug dish into that

Hi BDT, if you have a local Lidl store they do a complete kit, satelite receiver dish cable about 80 quid, if not will keep my eye open here as they have em about 4 times a year, espeicially now we have the german camper van invasion.

bought the maplins one s/hand from e/bay but the sat finder was a small compass which didn't work should of had water in it .didnt.so sent it back .also like the idea of a tripod keep the dish of the ground.
