I would love to join you in a convoy but my head has erupted through the coolant system and it's now in pieces so dont know whether or not i will get it fixed in time, i will still be going but it may be in the van, have to meet up to sort out my bullbars at the pit.
At least if i go in the works van the diesel is free, not sure how it will manage in the mud though LOL.
Oh and if anyone reading this is keen to find out how to change a head on a 2.4 you are welcome to come and practice on mine cos i have only done a couple of hours on it and i am already imagining a surf/sledgehammer interface LOL.(it's not that bad really)
      C ya soon!!
If it aint broke...........give it some more abuse!!!!!!!!
I gave it some abuse.................and it broke!!!!!!!

Not too sure how it happened, no strange noises, no temperature change, and no white smoke, switched off and all of a suden loads of steam came out through the grill where the pressure had opened up a small crack in the top of the rad, fixed rad and then found the system to be at very high pressure.
The unfortunate thing is that my dear wife decided it would be ok to do a 5 mile journey in it and overheated it just a little bit!!!!
If the head wasnt cracked already i reckon it must be now!!
The only problem is finding the time to do it and getting all the parts together.
