Asda have begun a fuel price war recently, they're selling unleaded for 99.9p.
Apparently, they believe the level of tax on fuel is rediculous!

I used to put optimax in the audi & i must admit it did make a difference, i got better acceleration & a bit more mpg although you do have to use it on a regular basis, that was petrol so im not sure about derv.

i think thats impressive for a petrol 4x4................got me thinking that has!!!!

Fiilled up with Shell Plus stuff tonight, regular diesel was all out - 6% more expensive. I await 6% more MPG but doubt it. Our 3ltr 2nd gen returns 26-28 mpg as a rule. Anyone else got +ve results from Plus grade?

I'd love to know how you get that mpg... the best I'v ever managed on a long run at 60 ish was 24 mpg typically its 22 mpg

Alot get crap mpg but have no idea why, engine's running sweet, regular services & what not, but they still get poor mpg.

Guess its just pot luck when you buy a surf.

LOL I love to make a Truck wheel spin so i am the same as you mate. The LSD is lovely for making people look round in agast when they hear something so big spinning its wheels. This i know does not help with the lovely fuel bill but hey!!!!
