That was a quick 19 month wait - not!!!!

Check list ??? I think I've got all the car stuff - just the GB sticker (Apache?!?). Got bulb kit, headlight deflectors, rescue gear (vest, triangle etc), first aid kit etc.

As for all the stuff to take - just like a long weekend wheeling around Wales lol - just a lot higher up.

Doing a full service, axle, tranny and t/case oils next week then thats it for me. Already changed all the engine hoses, put the old ones in the boot for spares. Belts were changed by Toyota about 18 months ago, they look good so they're staying put.

      ROCK ON!

Lucky bleeders - bet you can't wait..

I'm hoping to get a 3.0 next year and swap all my 'add-on's' over to it from my 2.4.

Then I'll be booking the Morrocco trip....

Hope it all goes smoothly for you both.

            Rob.

Me and spanners have been busy over the last few months. Let me think...

Fitted roofrack, replaced all track rod ends, all balljoints, steering idler, diff oil seal, checked diff oils (all good, not long replaced) fuel, air and oil filters, oil, radiator, coolant, propshaft joints greased, brake fluid replaced, all belts done. Just got to rewire the spots while the bashplate is off and we're good to go!

Tents, chairs, table, cooker, tools and spares going on the roofrack, clothes and breakables / valuables inside.

Tesco do decent overseas recovery for £50 odd, so am going with that.

Andy, GB sticker from Halfrauds - not worth making one for that price!

Almost forgot - power sockets going in the rear side panels of the truck tomorrow...

If you have GB number plates (the ones with the blue section on the left hand side,) you don't need the GB sticker.

                          Year or so.

Fitted it a few months back.
