any local motor factor that deal with fps or wds will be able to supply you a diy kit to convert from r12 to r134 (the current a/c gas used) its only the ports and the gas that are different so an easy job, kits are around £50 upwards but also let you regas yourself.
most garages will also do this for you if they are capable, pay no more than £100 though.
thanks for all your opinions although i totally understand your reasoning behind taking it to a professional due to the shifts i work not always poss if diy doesnt work can always try the pro
According to Bushwhacker (Vince)this weekend he brought one of fleabay for under £12 n re-gassed his 3rd Gen .... He'll be a way a few days more so ya'll have to wait till he's back for the gen ....
There's always a Payback .... Don't know where n don't know when tho !!!!
EDIT: Just looked at the stuff in the link you posted. That's the same junk Halfords sell.
If your air con. isn't working, a wee can of gas isn't going to fix it. Take it to a specialist and get it done right.
unless it needs re gassing like most do??
not sure if it helps bav but theres a few mobile air con techs down here, have a google u may find one that will come to you
