Alternater packed up

Hi more teething problems i,m afraid,the alternater is playing up,the question is should i get it reconditioned or buy a new one.
ps it,s a kzn130. cheers

It probably only needs new brushes. They're quite easy to do yourself or should be a simple refurb job.
