the thing is mat at almost 50 i think its a little late to go back to school .i have a job that i seem to be ok at well i have managed to earn a living at for the past 30 years my education was crap i left school to spend my life just getting bye well i have never had a lot of money but i have always done the things i wanted to do .at the moment its 4x4 s/ caravanning in the past its been horses /fishing and lots of other things .i do see the benefit of education. that gives you choices in life and without like me i have limited choices but if being happy is a goal in life then im successful if lots of money in the bank is a measure of success in life then im not. i have worked for lots of people over the years very well educated people but i cant say that any of them have been happier than me in a lot of cases the opposite.i suppose its easy to criticise people for not being good at grammar/punctuation/spelling if you are but for some it is difficult and there's no point or value in making them/us feel bad .some of the people i have worked for in the past have been unbelievably thick when it came to practical things but as surgeons/ big business men they have been the dogs round bits .we all have a place and a value and one way or another we all contribute .so perhaps it would be better if we could accept people as they are and just get along .all the best steve. oh and the glass is more like a small goldfish bowel only not that small

That wasn't the suggestion I intended to put across. Some people can't spell or write for toffee, that's a given. That won't alter. However, there are some who just can't be arsed to type something approaching legible. That is where the grouchiness kicks in. Never expected everyone to turn into Einstein or such.
For example: m8. It's a four letter word when written correctly. Why do they do that? Laziness. When you have lots of that cack in a post, however, it becomes more than a mere irritation. You can actually spend more time deciphering the post than you do reading it. Just because they can't be arsed.

I'll get me coat then eh
Or is it just you can't understand it and are frustrated by that hence the grouchiness, an you don't like to be beaten. Well not in public anyway
