The FXX is the one given to Schumacher when he retired - it's the only black one without a stripe and they're all fitted for the owners.

It's a pity really cos it means the laptime isn't necessarily representative and can't be compared to the others on the board HOWEVER it was 'kin amazing - I've never seen that track driven as well as that

If you think about it Schuey can't be the Stig cos the programme hasn't got a big enough budget to pay for him to be in every episode ......

I'm not convinced it's Mr Schumacher, think back to other times you've seen stig standing in a similar pose, arms folded, schuey is much slimmer than the regular stig, the race suit was hanging off him, nope not him. There is a very strong rumour that it is Ben Collins and theres is also a rumour that it could be multiple record holder/stunt driver and race driver Terry Grant.

It's what I heard (and a guy I know is one of the researchers).

It's "usually" Collins, but if he isn't available due to other commitments, it'll be someone else standing in.

i agree and disagree.. top gear sometimes do some expensive things, but how much is schuey!?

Rumour has it that Ferrari are paying him £20m pa ....... I don't think the Beeb can match that sort of dosh - even if Ferrari would release him for outside jobs
