In my local area we get the usual drifting pikey traveller types, like most rural areas do. In the past year 16 local farms have had their bulk milk storage tanks stolen ! Dont know if anyone has ever seen one, but they are enormous, heavy stainless steel jobbies.

I know what I would do if I caught one, with help, do what the arabs do to thieves, that stops them.

All to common these days, the feckers know only too well that if they should get caught they'll get next to nowt, yet if you did catch up with em/him and gave him a kicking you would promptly get done for assult,
this morn my sons business partner parked his landy outside one of their IT supported schools and at 9am broad daylight some scroat heaved a breeze block through the drivers window, yanked out the sterio but left it there, and pinched an i-pod, no one saw owt as usual, the cops dusted it but i would'nt hold me breath,

i have a few stories to tell, but its one person against a lot of people who think / act above the law, the only option that seems available is to break the law to get one back but you cant do that.

im sorry things have been stolen off you.. you will be better off if you try and thief proof your stuff and brush it off.
you have two options, do the above and move on or let it stress you out to the point of acting on it. then after you have acted on it having the very brief satisfaction of actually doing something but then the weeks or months of thinking about what theyre planning to get one back on you.

if you are content on getting something done to them you need to leave it for about 8 months at least, then unleash all mighty shitness on them. they wont be able to put the two together and will take it out on the last person or persons they did something wrong to.
now you are responsible for some innocent person or family who just had their shed or van broken into.
what goes around comes around, these people appear to have everything but they have nothing.
they all look the same - like bulldogs. all the women look like the blokes except they hardly wear any clothes. give the bird a bowl haircut and they would look just like their husband / cousin with boobs.

they buy up new cars and vans, and half decent caravans and go around causing people grief and stress. do you think any of them has a passport? i would be very surprised if they knew there was a war on in iraq / afghan.

what im saying is its not worth the hassle.

as long as their rights are kept to a minimum and the uk doesnt "build more pikey sites" for them like we have been in theory they should eventually die off.

Letting it go is the best advice.

The travellers will always have the advantage, they know where you live and have no scruples about taking revenge upon anyone who tries to hurt them.

You can’t own guns in the UK for self defence (unless you are a VIP, PM, IRA informer etc.) so the moment that you go out and threaten someone you face having all your shotguns/firearms confiscated. If you where to pull the trigger you would be done for pre-meditated murder.

If you go and buy a couple of big dogs all they would do is drug and steal them or poison/kill them and then make off with the rest of your belongings.

There is no legal way to get even.

I got a phone call day before yesterday from a neighber saying there are 2 blokes unloading your trailor at your stables over the fence. So I jumped in the truck and headed straight for the local scrap metal dealers because what they were stealing was alloy scrap. Where I caught up with them. I was going to jump out and lay the pair of em out when I suddenly thought I don't want my stables burnt down tonight. So a slanging match ensued and they eventually drove off at high speed shouting I'm going to get my father in law.
But not before my wife took this picture. You can see my v8 inlet manifold on the floor. Turns out the truck belongs to one of the hardest blokes in the area. The police won't even speak to them.
What do you do?

A few years back a mate of mine had a run in with some gypsies who were trying it on with his sister. He battered 2 of them (he was quite hard at the time) the other ran off.. About 2 weeks later they pulled up alongside him in the street and stabbed him with a spear (big knife tied to a stick) .
He was stabbed 7 times before they drove off in their transit.
Police were as usual a complete waste of time where pickeys are concerned.
My mate was in intensive care for 6 weeks with a puncture lung, liver and had his spleen removed.

What can you do? You want revenge but the B******S always win in the end because they know the police wont do a damn thing.
