Well, I think I've found a classic nominee for this one. The Telewest/Virgin I.T dept. Just logged into my old blueyonder webmail account, and they closed the mailbox with regards to receiving e-mails back in 2006 due to it being full. Yup, that I knew. However....................... ..................,

the muppets have only been sending an admin notifcation e-mail to my e-mail inbox once every two to three days since late 2006 to tell me that the account is locked due to the inbox being full. 50 sodding pages of their notification e-mails.

Now, am I the only one that can spot the flaw in that logic?

Funny you should mention that, I checked my old Tiscali account today, cancelled two and a half years ago by the way, and there were 2089 spam e-mails in there.

Isn't there a major flaw in their system in that they are able to send emails to a locked, full account?

Sounds like a good percentage of the providers are complete muppets then.

It definitely ain't smart. It's probably due to them being system generated postmaster mails, to allow 'essential' notifications through. Exacerbating the problem twenty or more fold doesn't exactly rate on the genius scale though.
