newbie with 1998 3.0 liter surf

Hi folks,have had hilux double cab in the past,a 2.4 non turbo[would not pull the skin off a rice pudding]Do a bit of driving in the North of W.A mostly sand /towing boats.The vehicle I just found was imported to New Zealand first 6 years ago then to W.A 12 months ago.Just needs a Tunit chip [made in England]and a 3 inch exhaust ,the current original has some terminal rust.I am flying to England June 8th then scandinavia.In Oz they also advertise a steinbauer chip anybody had any luck with chipping the 3 liters,
