Im Jace buying a Surf Hilux,pretty much mine already the owner is a mate and needs to hang on to it for work for 2-3 weeks then ill be buying it
Its a K plate in Grey,2.4 TD
Im joining to brush up on Surf upkeep and know how,hopefully also contribute to the forum community were i can,ill try to read as much as i can before posting so that im not bugging you guys with the same old stuff
Im very Dyslexic so may produce plenty of grammatic errors,but if it bothers you just point it out and ill do my best to amend the post
I love Toyota had a MK2 G plate Mr2,Which had 168k on the clock but drove like new until a Nissan Nivara took me out head on ,now have a 51 plate Yaris ,its nippy ,economical (40+mpg petrol),cheap to tax and insure ,the down side is everyone wants to pull out on it or cut me up,so i want something chunky i can just plod along in and not get stressed
I hear the only issues are prob over heating and cracked heads or head gaskets ,any tips on what to do to prevent it other than care and checks are welcome,also any tips on what to do after ive picked it up
Hope the intro wasnt two long i figured if you want friends then people have to get to know you a little
