plastic coat help

Hi guys and girls can anyone tell me if there is a way of removing plastic coat (diy style) off my bull bars.or is it a no hoper,just trying to keep it on the cheap

Do you mean Plasti-Kote? If so, pretty much any lacquer/varnish remover should work, I believe.

What's plastic coat? I thought the only type of protective coating normally applied as a rule was that epoxy type coating?

Hell, I've lost the plot about whats what now. Just burn the bugger off. That always works.

Think he means "powder coating" which is plastic, scrape and burn! or the peeps doing the new powder coat might strip it for ya
