Went off football and S/land after going to game after game in 70-71 and watching them lose 1-0 over and over again, the final straw was Blackburn rovers, who were holding bottom position beating "us" 1-0 at home, I vowed not to go again and only relented when living in London on getting free tickets to Liverpool / Wimbledon FA cup final, which, for me, was the worst final ever played at the stadium, since then I've satisfied myself with a few world cup games and have been disappointed with those too, too many prima-donnas and nancy boys for my liking. H
