Uk Scrappage deal do we qualify?
Ok so the government will give me £1000 if I scrap my car and buy a new one, but is it for ten year old cars or for cars registered before first registered on or before 31 July 1999? Diferant sites say different things.
My Surf was manufactured in 1993, but first registered in the UK on 01/04/04.
Do i qualify for the scheme?

It's based on when it was registered, not when it was built.

hey, this is great, i could probably built 2 trucks that look complete enough from the bits i have lying around, £2000 discount!

Shame i don't want 2 new cars....

i thought about that it needs an MOT and You also need to own the car for a year before it can be exchanged!
