Good to meet you all Thoroughly enjoyed the day, the surf is MINGING now
Took it to some places I probably wouldn't have ventured if I'm honest, but really glad I did Just showed how capable the Surfs are offroad even more.
After you left both Disco's got stuck on the same bit, I towed one of them out (video footage to follow ) - the surf went straight through.
Then I made a fatal mistake of letting a LameRover driver have a go in a decent 4x4 and he got it stuck in the same place so I had to be towed out by a Disco (only Surf by this point )
Finally, on the way home, found a bit of water so I volunteered JP to go through first as he was the only one with a Snorkel, and he got stuck for the first time ever
All my photo's are uploading now, will post a link as soon as they're up there.
How do people feel about number plates showing? If people would prefer not to see them I'll blank them out, however as we did nothing illegal I don't see the real need... Happy to do it though if people would prefer.
Cheers again, and thanks for leading, I know it can get tiresome at the front all the time but you did a cracking job.
We had to leave when we did as we had been out since 10 am ...........and we left you at 1830 ........ got to be up at 0430 so needed to get home and sort some things out .........
Glad you had a good day

Yeah no worries mate, wasn't whinging about you leaving when you did, fully understandable I left my house at 12:00 and got home at 21:00, and that really was enough for the day

Great day out peeps! Many thanks Ian for leading and getting in a good route as ever. Loving the lift- lots of heads turning as we drove through some of the villages.
Damn my hub for refusing to lock leaving me in 2WD all day, though pleased that the Surf dealt with most of the plain without. Hopefully be able to get them sorted before the next outing.
Good to meet everyone else, too.
Pics to follow once I find a camera lead that works
