Took all day to get it done. Had to move the crosspieces on the rack to coincide with the crossmembers in the roof. Had to drill and thread the aluminium mounting blocks. There is no hole right through the blocks, to make water sealing easier. The blocks sit on neoprene seals cut to the shape of the block. Then had to find M12x25mm HT bolts, on a saturday, in Malvern. (Found a blacksmith who has EVERYTHING!! )
Headlining is still out until I fit the roof console / wire the lights up etc.
Its either that or block the road. Unfortunately, the road was built when the horse and cart ruled (1860-ish). Its one of the narrowest roads I've ever seen
Nearly finished my roof console after being inspired by yours. Just waiting for grey cloth to cover it from eBay and it will be going in. Mine contains CB, HF / VHF / UHF scanner, boost gauge, ATF temp gauge and various switches
