Trouble is most decking needs supporting about every 2ft.so if that is say 4x2 timber, you need to support the 4x2 with lots of posts or hang it between bigger timbers on fewer posts.
Is the shed being raised like decking or on a concrete base?

hoping to do it on decking, wot bout if i did 4x4 posts?
Supports(black dots) 4x4 or 3x3 posts
12 x 8"x2" At 12'3"
80 x 4"x2" at 6'
And about the same dimensions to supprt the shed (only use plywood for the floor and dont bother with decking
I built my decking a few years ago using old fence posts (3"x6") as support posts spaced every 4 foot. these support posts held a 2"x6" side rail off which I hung my 10 foot longspan joists (2"x6") at 14" centres. Plenty strong enough to hold numerous drunken dancing overweight yobs.
I've some pictures of the build somewhere if you'd like to see the spacing/sizes.
back in a bit...........
here we go ... had to space joists quite closely as the wife wanted herringbone pattern on deck boards -which would have left too much board unsupported had i used 18" centres. took around 2 weeks to complete during my summer holidays.
The wife will tell you - it was like a shed for 3 years until i got my finger out and completed the build. - i'm now 5 years into a 2 year project!!
"do you want it doing right - or doing now?" was always my mantra!!!
what she actually got was "done late and wrong!"
