Or oil filter, if you like.

so far, ive used a genuine oil filter every time, but ive got a shirt load of gear to order from milners, and could just order a pattern filter on top. (they dont have genuine).

Usualy get genuine from roughtrax, but dont want to pay postage on one lousy filter?

So.. aftermarket ok? or stick with genuine?
Its got me wondering, cos im used to bikes that run 12000rpm. so use fully synthetic and genuine filter for obvious reasons!

    cheers.

I've been using the Milners service kits for nearly six years now, and as yet have not had a problem.
Also I think fully synthetic might be a bit rich for our old engines, you'll need to ask someone with more knowledge than me.

Allways used milners for filters - fuel , air, oil - no probs in 5 years.
Their filters are made by Boshi - whoever they are??
        Everyone thinks I'm paranoid!!

Genuine Toyota Oil Filter everytime for me.

Pressure release valve, dual filteration system.

Weighs nearly double that of an aftermarket oil filter, which says a lot.

Why don't you go to your local dealer & buy one then there is no postage charge?

I pay about £12.00 + vat for mine.........I know it's more, but then there have been several tests done & some aftermarket filters are terrible.

For me I would rather pay another £6 per filter for peace of mind.

Cheers everybods. Failed to mention i use fully synthetic in bikes, semi in the truck.
Ive decided to go with my analy retentive it'll explode and kill me and anybody else within a five mile radius and how will i sleep at night so use genuine filter.

Ive just got this 'when it comes to oil filters and cam belts, use genuine' thing stuck in my head for the past twenty something years, and i SAY i might get aftermarket, but when it comes down to it.. cant do it.

Oh, and i did try to get one from my local, but i got the 'sorry mate import. no listings'.
