And the engines in these old barges are bullet proof, if a little thirsty...
See, the thing is EVERYONE who has ever had one seems to say they're brilliant. Why did you have the rocker cover off, incidentally?

      Did it smell of eggs?

That's the Aygo. IQ is smaller and a bit weirder.

I can confirm the eggy smell as the washer bottle cos mine was the same when i bought it mate, the car had been stood for about 6 months before i got it.

I'd say it is a genuine sale & with a couple off quid thrown at it you will have an excellent motor, wish i still had mine sometimes, it was the 2.0 16v & when i reluctantly sold it it had intergalactic miles on the clock & was still going strong.
If its not broke don't fix it.

I was looking at one for the wife - but was "too dated" so settled for a petrol saab 93 at twice my budget!! nice car though!

Well, I've got my 'banger'. A little more than I was planning to spend, but I think I might keep this one a while.

There is a prize for knowing what it is and what makes it special. The prize is me syaing 'correct', unfortunately.

                          Is it a Mazda Domestos?

What makes it special? Rod Hull fell onto it when he fell off the roof. Thats why it's sitting low.

it is indeed a Mazda unpronounceable. It's a 9, not a 6, though, so it's bigger and posher.

It's sitting low because that's what it does. It's special because it has a unique feature that no other production car in the world has, or has ever had.....

Is it the only car named after a character from Mork and Mindy?

Or is it the miller cycle engine?
                              it's in me shed, mate.
