Forum Charity Raffle (NOT Auction!)

Hi all,

Following on from my Race For Life thread, you'll remember that Paul (biosurf) and Paul (Greecysurf) offered us prizes for a Raffle in aid of Cancer Research? This is the Rafle Thread.

There are 2 Prizes, A one week stay in a Villa near Athens and a Signed Snooker Cue (I think it's Steven Hendry?). The draw will take place at the end of Shirley's run on 14th June, I will ask a marshall to make the draw, first ticket for the Cue, second for the Villa, and photograph each ticket. Names and the ticket numbers will be added to this post as they come in.

The tickets will cost £2.00 each and the raffle will be open to anyone on this Forum and their families. Donations already made don't count (unless you complain a lot!)

How you pay is up to you, PayPal, PO, Cheque, Cash or direct to Shirley's page. Seems like if you give the cash via PayPal and call it a 'Gift' as Jotto did, they don't charge fees.

Any monies sent via me (any way except direct to Shirley's page) will be donated as a lump sum and doubled (Off line) by my employer.

T&C - The Villa Holiday is the Villa only, you have to make your own way there, Paul will provide all necessary details. The Cue is just that, a Cuemaster cue signed by Mr Hendry (I think!)...

Update

The Greek holiday has been upgraded! The prize is now for a 1 week stay in a villa rather than the cottage.

The villa has a swimming pool, air conditioning throughout, TV, DVD and Satelite, it can accommodate up to 10 people.

It is situated in St Emilianos, just outside Porto Heli, in millionaires row.

The value of this prize is around €3,150. You still have flights to pay on top though.

So get your fingers out and buy a ticket, it's only £2!

A bit more info to help drag your wallets out and free the moths, flights to Athens can be booked through easyjet, flying from Gatwick Luton or Heathrow, If booked on the net you can get a return for about 75 pounds,
We can be as flexible as you want on dates, You could rent a car from Athens, 2.5 hour drive through some stunning scenary, alternatively you can get a taxi to Pireaus then a 2 hour trip on the flying cat, with stops at Hydra and Poros, once you arrive in Porto Heli we will meet you and get you settled in for a superb holiday, we can arrange car hire from Porto Heli for you for about 35 Euros a day. We will supply a nice bottle of wine chilled ready for your evening drink by the pool, put in enough bottled mineral water, tea bags and coffee plus a fresh baked loaf to get you started.
