Daft question but has he posted in the New Users section yet? Once you have posted in there the mods move it to the general section (I think) you can then post in all the other sections.

Sorted, he may have had the confirmation email but if ou dont click on the link to confirm his account just sits in limbo, like it was.
I have activated his account so he can now post in the new users section and I'll moderate his post.Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.
