just spent another day on stein, with no luck, the fly wheel is not locked up anymore , but the gearbox doesnt seem to be working
ive just about had enough now and cant take lying under it anymore
i dont know what to do now !!!!!!!

yes matey, about 4 litres it took to fill up,
the only thing im wondering now is whether the shaft that goes into the torque converter is a different size and so isnt doing anything, i know the output shaft at the back of the box is a lot smaller but not sure if the other shaft is different

just try one thing for me steve.put the box in drive,and then check the linkage to make sure it actually is in drive and not between gears on the gear box.if that makes sense.

already tried it matey, ive sat in it and tried with it in gears, half way between gears and moving it backwards and forward but nothing at all

i dont want to say this but im gonna its possible you may of damaged the torque converter.by not lining it up right when you fitted it the first time.
