Stupid question time (for a change)

Is the Landcruiser Master Cylinder the same as the one in the 3rd Gen and if not would fitting it made any serious difference to the braking ?

And (Just out of interest) what's the largest tyres you could fit to the steels ?


(I know the boss won't let me fit serious rubber to her Surf but improving the brakes might not be too hard to sell to her !)
