just thought id say a mahooooooooosive thanks to stormforce, hes just left my place after 240miles of driving to drop my borg warner gearbox off and now hes on his way to drop off an engine in glouster ,
hope you have a safe journey home mate and thanks again

now the fun begins of swapping the gearbox over so stein will run again

mitsy i appreciate the offer to help anyway, stormy told me it was tough for you today, thanks anyhow for the offer

and stormy the wife didnt even know youd been lol, she woke up and asked when you were coming

well ive spent all day removing the old box and fitting the new one , and after hours after hour of work...... it doesnt work , something is locking up the flywheel when the new box is bolted on , so its got to come off again to investigate whats happening ,

steve,theres two lugs on the end of the torque converter,these must line up with the two opposite lugs on the first motion shaft of the gear box otherwise it will lock up.so its a case of unbolt the torque converter from the drive plate.push converter on to g/box first motion shaft twist converter until it slides back down the shaft and locks in.
