finally got round to fixing the back window.
removed the motor, and stripped it down.
found that the rubber drive coupling
that connects the output gear of the
motor to the nylon gear inside the motor
had come apart. a few drops of super-glue
and it works fine.a nightmare for months
    fixed in an hour.
would like to buy a new coupling now
anybody know if they are available?
    any advise on roof-rails please.
dont mind drilling roof but not touching headlinning.

window wouldnt move up or down,
      but the motor was running.
the coupling semms to act as a sort of clutch.
it came apart, so lost all drive
