Looks to me like youve gone for a 190mm outer, 135mm inner, 1/4" top lip, with a 3/4" bottom for coil to sit on.

Be able to tell better when i strip it and measure up properly.

As Stinky said, it's engineering grade nylon you're after. I've got a load of 2" diameter - which is absolutely no use whatsoever to you. It's softish so compresses slightly rather than explodes like the harder plastics do. Pretty ideal for spacers I would have thought.

I went through a few MOTs without spring locators, and my MOT man just pointed it out and left it at that. Now I have 'stein ally ones like pictured in the thread.
