classic fords, my old scene, looks a real gem that one, serious money for a serious car he'll probably get that too. I got a few mates with some real big power escorts and still do the occasional track days with them, the fun you can have with a 300bhp escort at brands is amazing!
sold all mine now, in last 5 yrs I've had 2.8 capri, mk2 escort harrier and a 5.7 V8 capri, good fun at the drag strip but I've moved on now.

this is my mate matt's escort used for sprints, hillclimbs and trackdays.

powered by an SBD motorsport 2 litre Ford Duratec engine giving 298bhp at the flywheel and revving to an incredible 9500rpm, through a modified type 9 gearbox into a atlas LSD axle that is 6 linked and the car suspended on fully adjustable coilovers. All this makes for one hell of a ride, I've done 2 trackdays with Matt at brands hatch and without word of a lie we weren't overtaken once!
I dread to think of the cost that has been thrown at this car, he's been upgrading it for 14years now.

to be honest with you I'm not sure of some of the locations he's done hillclimbs, him and his friend graham, who has an almost identical looking escort travel all over the place, oh to be mortgageless these days! maybe I could have another of my toys like my 5.7V8 capri!
