What's the recommended grade of engine oil for a 3.0Ltr?(3rd gen).

Personally I use Castrol GTD Magnatec 10W-40 which is a semi-synthetic.

Generally, I end using 10w-40 as its not too expensive as its semi-synthetic

costco have GTD 10w-40 magnatec quite cheap at the mo.

can't remember how much though!

been using 10W30(winter service),maybe this is where the slight engine noise I have been experiencing recently is coming from(oil too thin@high temps),changing to Castrol Magnatec GTD 10W40 tomorrow.
