Is there no such thing as a 93 intercooler version of the 3litre? I've found one online but was told on the forum here that they only began producing them after 97? Could be aftermarket I suppose but has anyone heard of a 93 equipped with it stock??

I would doubt that that is stock, it might be genuine Toyota but it would be post production - ie a 3rd Gen KZN engine in a 2nd Gen body.

theres a vin number on the body just under the drivers side wheel arch i think or down the inner side
have a look what the vin is on the body not on the plate or engineam not die lex sick its you that cant read mateComment

Only if you do it yourself. Toyota didn't do a 2nd gen intercooled. If its on eBay, you can bet it's got ABS, Traction Control etc as well.
