New to Surf

Hello all, new to the forum, never done the forum thing at all for that matter. Looking at a couple of Surf's one is a 94 3litre TD, the other is the 93 3Litre intercooler TD, they have almost identical mileage. After research I've passed up three beautiful 2.4's given the trouble with the head, found one with the modified head replacement but can't find anything about bhp rating after the repair. Anyone have any ideas?? As for the 3litres I'm wondering how tough is it to install an intercooler on the 94?? Excited to get into my surf and the purcell mountain around cranbrook are trembling!!!

The 2.4 is about 97bhp (When new)
The 3.0 about 130bhp (when new)

Intercooled 3.0 (3rd gen) were not available until 1997.
