Of course!!, why didnt we think of that before.. the only thing that puzzles me is, buffalo herds used to number in the millions before the yanks shot them all, why didnt their farts make the world hotter.

My daughter is a vegetableist, she says meat makes her feel bunged up, which is why she dosnt eat it, plus she dosnt like the taste she claims, I've known her nick cold sausages from the fridge tho, so shes not all that commited!

If God didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them meaty and so dam tasty.

Humans are omnivores. Simple fact. Any vegetarians/vegans obviously have too much time on their hands and not enough to fill it with. Most things are part of our natural diet. Crisis of conscience where natural order is concerned is merely stupid and a complete waste of time.

But vegitarians are not suffering a crisis of conscience. Or at least not any that I have ever met.
I suppose I'm lucky to have only ever experianced proper veggies, those that simply, the same as I don't like cooked carrots (love them raw), don't like meat, don't have fake meat because after all it's still tastes like meat.
Now if someone was to lecture me on where my meat came from, I'd have no problem at all. If it was processed then it was the scrapings from the factory floor, and if it was a lump of meat then one day it was an animal frolicking around getting fat in order to become a good meal for me. Not sure I could eat dog tho, but I hear horse meat is very good.

Reminds me of the T-shirt I saw last summer...

                  MEAT IS MURDER

                  TASTY, TASTY MURDER...

                      what do

                      (1) Vegetarians
                      (2) tree huggers
                      (3) Lefites

                      have in common?

They all have factions that will try to move hell and high water to convince you that "they" are right and you are wrong.

I have people who I work with who are Vegetarian but would happily see me much through a bacon sarnie, not everyone is as extreme as the next one although I do have a problem with Lefties!
Bring me the head of a treehugger

I do believe that the common reference here is "terrorist".....i freely admit the terror part is a bit tenuous, but none the less..trying to impose your will on another, not just by means of vegetarianism either...consider the animal liberation front, the people who attack properties in wales and cornwall, the great unwashed who attempt a revolution every G20 summit by burning down mcdonalds, quite a few religions in the middle east.... Anti 4x4 persons.....the list is long and consists of people who have a viewpoint and cannot/will not listen to a counter argument. The sooner these people realise that every one's choice is exactly that ...their choice....the better

and btw you can always "sniff out " the veggie in a room
(either that or ask a question and the one too weak to raise their hand is your man)

Edit: if new legislation is approved this discussion will be deemed illegal so as not to upset anyone

On my travels around Africa I didn’t find any vegetarians amongst the local people... out there you eat what you are given or go hungry.
Vegetarianism is one of those luxuries available to people living in affluent countries.
