Rod what R&P ratio did you fit to your truck?
What do you think it gave you 1, 2 or more lower gears?

Never got round to actually fitting it mate. By the time we finally had all the tools it was uncertain if the truck would be staying!


I went for 5.29 ratio which from what i understand is very low gearing for 35's an would easily handle much larger.

Cheers mate was looking at 5.29 but might just use the 2.4 diffs in a 3.0ltr. This would drop a 3.0ltr surf from 4.55 down to 4.88 which should be fine on 35s or 37s.
As the 3.0ltr low box seems to work perfect off road on 33s with the standard ratio of 4.55-1
