yep registered it last week,email just seems random?ie a week later from sumone else?though maybe spam,but looks like a proper register,just never heard of it

You or anyone shouldn't make a web site unless they have registered their chosen name and all registered names go through Nominet. You can also check it is registered to you and not the person who may have designed your web site.

Nominet is the company that registers and manages all the UK allocations of domain names, so whoever you registered with (CheapDomains?) they send the details to Nominet who admin the domain and they will send out the reminders to you when ready, and you will also get a certificate from them soon too....
