  • Ferkin 'ell!!!

Drove a Merc AMG 6.3 V8 Kompressor today. I dont have the vocabulary to describe the savageness of the acceleration of that thing! Traction control on and still lights up the humungous rear tyres on take off. Mindblowing!!!

I followed it with an Audi RS6, whilst not as savage, the acceleration builds like a ###### fighter plane, the grip is just immense, and the noise of that V10... almost a very big weewee moment!

On balance, I'll take the Audi.

The V70R is pedestrian in comparison.

Just got the V8 X5 to go now, which is nice, but not my cuppa.

Been trying to convince Vicki we need this...

Drove the x5 a couple weeks ago my mates lad has it. Not my thing but very nippy for a lump of a car.

The Mk1 has been very nicely done, perfect for the country lanes first thing on a sunny Sunday.

I'm liking the surge of power from my meagre 2.7 Bi-Turbo 250 bhp V6 Audi - you lucky sod to have been out playing in the Lambo engined RS6...

          I'm not jealous - much!

...and the RS6 felt so much slower than the Merc off the line, and thats a mental thing to say!!!

Both are somewhere over 500BHP, but the Merc's power was just instantaneous. I reckon it would kill me one day if I owned it. However the Audi feels so much more controllable and precise. Absolutely stunning car, and I'd have one in a flash - if I had RS6 money!

Sorry, they've gone back to their owner now. Just had a quick spin when I'd finished testing before chappie came to pick them up.

Somehow, I dont feel that the next vehicle is going to have such sparkling performance...

The old J60 engined Scimitar was reputedly capable of beating an XJ6 away from the lights - well for the first 20' or so anyway !

Pretty awesome performance for a piece of armour, even if it was aluminium ....

Life is too important to take seriously !

Been playing with a V8 X5 today. Whatever you think of the owners of such machines, it's a very well put together piece of kit, and that is one sweeeeet sounding engine!
