I know what your both going through mate, Bev and I went through it. She is in her 4th year year now. She only had a lumpectomy but had 6 months of chemo and 6 weeks of radio. I told her I would take her to Vegas when it was all over. That holiday was three years ago now. She has to take tamoxifen for five years and has to put up with horrible hot flushes, but its getting easier. Not nice to go through when your only forty.

Sorry to hear your news - my mum has been through breast cancer so I know how hard it can be, stay strong and don't let it get the upper hand.

Good idea on the puppy - can be hard sometimes to see a future but having a goal and something else to concentrate on makes all the diff.

well not the news we wanted , Claire is going back in, in the morning for another op to remove the rest of the nodes and will be getting chemo .

she is not happy and i just wish i could do more.
