Anyone here know anything about Kenwood head units?

I have one that keeps spitting the cd out. CD goes in, tries to read it, then spits it out. Any ideas what's wrong with it?

had loads of kenwoods before,they are v finnicky,ive had that happen to me,airline in the slot normally does the trick,

Sounds like the lazer is dirty I'm sure you can get a cleaning disc that you can run in it. That should do the trick.

Yep, it's sitting on the floor in front of me just now (connected to a 12v transformer)

if its anything like my old ones,u go down shop buy the nice cleaner cd,to then realise it wont stay in to play

why u go propellent on yr desk?? but few bursts is usually enough to get the dust off the laser

Is it easy to damage the lens? Thinking about cotton buds or something to clean it?
